The Cassowary

This is Alexander Frevrent's ship, the Cassowary.

Originally built in Havana, Cuba, the ship was launched on March 24th, 1720 as a brigantine warship for the Spanish Empire's Navy, under the name Coro de los ángeles. In 1735 after being horribly damaged in a hurricane off the coast of Nassau, the Navy sold her to a merchant by the name of Reynold Cumber. She was repaired and made trips between England, Africa, and the American colonies. In April of 1755, while docked in the American River Valley to resupply, the assassin turned Templar, Alexander Frevrent, being pursued by those he once called brothers, killed her captain and bribed the crew into taking him to New York. There, her crew was forced out of the ship by Haytham Kenway, Shay Cormac and Alexander, and their gang of thugs. She was given heavy and major upgrades, funded by the Templars infinite wealth. Shay Cormac trained Alexander both in Templar and Naval ways. In 1765, Alexander was officially welcomed into the Templar order. During the American War of Independence, the Cassowary and her captain and crew fought beside the British against the assassins and the American Colonists. She disappeared off the coast of South Africa in May 1813.
